10:00 a.m. Joint Mission Church Service / Potluck - Join us for our 10:00 a.m. Joint Mission Church Service followed by a potluck with St. Peter and St. Paul Flatrock at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Florida, Ohio on September 17th at 10:00 am.  Our guest speaker will be Mary Bates, a director of NALC Disaster Response.  Mary is promoting continued growth of the Lutheran churches engaged in disaster response and creating opportunities to increase our capacity to mobilize youth and adult volunteers in assisting survivors in response and recovery operations.  Mary's collective work is done in an effort to help families recover when disasters strike; they train, equip, and lead volunteers that assist disaster survivors in the spirit of goodwill and creating mutual respect among all people.  There will be a door offering and freewill offering at the potluck.
